Well, keeping up with blogging since Hakan's arrival has become a thing of the past! Good thing we don't have too much to write about since our days in London are numbered and we haven't been up to much!
The first month has gone by quicker then I imagined. Our days have been full of feeding, nappy changing, and rocking the little man to sleep but we have had some fun and visitors as well!
Hakan had his first trip to Hyde Park the Friday we got home from the hospital. We met up with some friends who were enjoying the beautiful weather we had in London over Easter. In his first week home we had a few friends stop by our flat to meet the little guy including my very good friend Theresa who was visiting with us the weekend before!
Hakan also had his first play date with Sarita, our friends Megan and Ryan's little girl who is four days older than Hakan.
Two weeks after Hakan was born, my mom came to visit. We had a great time and spent many days strolling through the park and running errands on High Street. We also managed to get in a little bit of site seeing, making it to Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.
It was a great first month in London for Hakan and the start of winding down our time abroad.
